Best Pet friendly hotels for Summertime!

The idea of traveling with pets has become much easier over the last decade.  Hotels are now changing their policies and loosening the restrictions on allowing animals on their properties.  Some hotels restrict the size, breed, or weight of dogs, so be sure to check their website before traveling.  No one wants to be walking the streets after a day of traveling looking for a pet- friendly hotel!  We are going to break down some of the hottest summer hotels for you and your dog or ca t to enjoy!

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $5 per night in campsites, and $50 per night in cabins.  How cute is this?!  At check-in, pups will receive 'Pluto's Welcome Kit', which includes a mat, bowls, pet ID tag, poop bags, puppy pads, and a dog walking map. Proof of vaccinations is also required.  Unfortunately, Cats are not accepted.

            Are you traveling up North?  Aloft Boston Seaport is pet friendly! Two dogs up to 80 lbs are welcome for no additional fee. Dogs may not be left in the room unattended. Beds, bowls, treats and toys are available. There is a small grassy area for pet relief on the property. Unfortunately, Cats are not accepted.

            Don’t stress about hitting the Famous Las Vegas Strip… Westin Las Vegas Hotel welcomes two pets up to 50 lbs for an additional fee of $35 plus tax per night, plus a $150 refundable deposit. Pets may not be left unattended in rooms.

            Going down to the Big Easy?  Aloft New Orleans Downtown is pet friendly! Two pets up to 30 lbs are welcome for no additional fee. Larger pets are considered with prior approval from the hotel. Both dogs and cats are allowed, but four-legged friends may not be left unattended in rooms. Dog treats, beds, and bowls are available. There is a park is located three blocks from the hotel.

            If you’re looking to line dance, The Westin Nashville welcomes pets of any size for an additional fee of $50 per night (not to exceed $150 per stay). Both dogs and cats are allowed, but pets may not be left unattended in rooms. Dog beds, bowls, and treats are available upon request. There is a grassy pet relief area with a waste station on the property.

            Arizona is becoming such a hot spot to bring Spot!  Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak welcomes two pets up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $75 per pet, per stay. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and well-behaved pets may be left in the room unattended. There are grassy areas on the property for pet relief as well as a dog park down the street.

The list is endless and growing each day.  Traveling with your pets can be so rewarding.  Creating life long memories with your entire family, instead of worrying about your pet back home and checking the “Pet Cam” every chance you get.  Trust me, I get it… I can’t go a few hours without mine!  Be sure to pack your Scratch Square to keep Fido occupied while you explore the town!  A few other essentials include travelcage, treats, poo bags, bed, favorite toy, and travel food bowls!
